5Slim, light weight and much easier to swap in and out than other cases I have tried
By D. Brennan
Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3EG3SDMYBCRNH I like this case better than any other battery-booster I have used before. It is well designed and I found putting it on and removing it from my iPhone to be MUCH easier than other cases I have used. You will notice in the video that it took me a couple of attempts to remove the case. I didn't rehearse the process before the video and subsequent attempts were faster once I had the hang of it.

I read another couple of reviews that compared it to Otter cases... Let me be clear, this is so much easier to work with than an Otter case that comparing them is farcical. An Otter case offers a lot more protection than this Belkin, but the installation takes 3 to 4 times the amount of time. For that effort you get better protection, though no battery boost.

The external buttons are great. I clicked through all the functions with no problem.

They include a small audio extender. If your headphones have a bent audio jack like the Bose IE2 Audio Headphones, this extender MAY be necessary depending on the angle of the bend. If your headphones have a straight plug like Bose SIE2i Sport Headphones - Green you do not need the extender.

As an added bonus, this case charges using a standard micro-USB cable and will charge your Belkin Grip AND iPhone while it is connected. You can save yourself the trouble of carrying your thunderbolt cable.

The battery does not interfere with cell phone reception.

All in all, an excellent product for those of us who are on the go with long waits between recharging.

4As advertised - doubles battery time
By A Busy Reader
There are many pros, and few cons to this little battery case.

Pros:
*Double iPhone 5 battery time
*Easy to use
*Protective case
*Easy to snap on and off

Cons:
*Case is a tad bulky and extends the case length a bit - which makes it a bit difficult for me to hold and use with one hand (I have small hands, though so this may not be a problem for others.)
*Additional charging cord - not the standard lighting cord.
*Need to use the included extender to access the output cord for the earbuds.

Overall, this is a great option for those times you'll be away from a charging station.

4Does the job.
By Pablo
Let me start off by saying that this Battery Case/Charger does pretty much what it's meant to do, it almost doubles your iPhone 5's battery life while at the same time giving your phone a moderate amount of protection. I'll go over some pros and cons in this review so hopefully you'll be more informed in making this $99 purchase (at the time of this review).

First, the battery case comes in a simple Belkin box with very simple instructions. Anyone that's installed an Otterbox case should be at home here, but the instructions can be very vague for others. All you really have to do is pull apart the outer part of case and insert your iPhone into the lightning dock, then you reapply the outer case until you clear clicks from all around. It's simple enough, but for $100 they could have done a better job with instructions.

The actual use of the case is a little odd. It's big, bulky, and kind of ugly but it does the job whenever my iPhone battery is getting low. All I have to do whenever I feel like charging my phone is hit the round, black button on the back of the case. Three little lights notify you when the case's charge is depleting so you do have to be careful not to overly rely on the case for a largely extended amount of time. However as long as you keep an eye on the charge and plug it in every night you should be fine.
Speaking of plugs, it comes with a micro usb cable that charges both the case and the iPhone every night, there is no need to charge the case separately or ever remove it if you don't want to. This can be a blessing and a curse since your iPhone is going to charge a lot slower than usual, however it will also last for almost double its normal capacity.

I use my phone a lot, and instead of the usual 10 or so hours of use before seeing red, the Belkin's 2000 maH battery helps me see about 18-21 hours before I have to start plugging it in.

Overall, if you use your phone a lot and start seeing the red battery around 1 p.m. on a daily basis then this battery charger case is a godsend...if you can learn to ignore the bulky feel of a late 90s cell phone.
